When
people ask me how I do my work, it's a hard question to answer. Art
doesn't come easy for me. It's a long, frustrating process, filled with
both hopes and disappointments. You conjure an idea so clearly within
your head, and yet you can't for the life of you get it down on paper.
There's also "artist's block" -- when I'm not in the mood
to draw, which is often, I simply can't and won't. A painting or drawing
comes maybe once or twice a year for me now, and my schedule at work
prevents me from having much free time.
