When people ask me how I do my work, it's a hard question to answer. Art doesn't come easy for me. It's a long, frustrating process, filled with both hopes and disappointments. You conjure an idea so clearly within your head, and yet you can't for the life of you get it down on paper. There's also "artist's block" -- when I'm not in the mood to draw, which is often, I simply can't and won't.

A painting or drawing comes maybe once or twice a year for me now, and my schedule at work prevents me from having much free time.

Here are some samples of art where I've documented their respective step-by-step creation. You'll see my techniques...as well as my mistakes. Just click on an image to see how it was made.
